She was relaxing against the seat next to him, her hands moving now and then to smooth out the skirt of the dress, a delighted smile on her lips as she absolutely loved the color. Every now and then she would look over at Adra who almost seemed petrified of going out without his cloak to hide him from all the prying eyes. Even when he did turn to look out the window, she thought she heard him muttering under his breath about something or other before he signed and turned to talk to her.
“Wellllll….” She began considering whether or not to at least tell him of the first part of the evening. “I suppose I can let you in on a little bit of the plan. But only the first part! You will get no more than that.” Grinning at him as she was very excited about this night, even if it was really the only date they had gone on so far. “First, of course, is dinner! So I hope you brought your appetite, because I hear that the chef at Café Le’Rome can make some of the finest dishes in the land.” She just kept smiling as she spoke of the restaurant. “He can make nearly an Italian recipe, and his sauces are by far the best I have ever tasted. I was even lucky to have gotten a reservation for tonight, but…seems my name still has a bit of pull in the larger cities here, so managed to get one. Even had him get a table not right in the middle of the crowd either, so might make you a little more comfortable.” She gave him a bit smile, waiting to see if his jaw dropped at all or if he had even ever heard of the restaurant. She was just excited to be going out, even if it meant dealing with the rumors and gossip written in the columns the following Monday.
